How to start learning digital marketing - The easy way

Other than that the resources are unlimited. You can easily find the best courses for free on youtube. You will also find extremely detailed and professional tutorials from industry experts. There are also sites like skillshop that offer free courses and also offers certificated which you can keep updating your CV with. Other than that there are various tools that you could use to get deeper insights into the career path, which will also make the learning journey easier. Different tools such as semrush and google ads offer blogs and articles on guides and best practices. these can also come handy when trying to learn diigtal marketing. 

Where not to start from!

As a beginner myself i have decided to document my journey and to keep you updated with all the new tools, tips and information I learn.

To start off I first bought a digital marketing course online for £1k, which was definetly not worth it. Now I amnot saying that these expensive courses arent worth it. They definetly are, but maybe a bit later on your learning journey when you already know something about digital marketing. During that course I was very overwhelmed as the course did not specilise into into specific topic, but rather went trough all the different types of marketing. 

Where to get stared?

  Following is a list on how i am currently learning digital marketing-

1- Start with the basics

In order to learn more about the different marketing types and career paths, it is important to learn the purpose and meaning of the word itself. Focus on the basics first and then step into the different types of digital marketing. These include, the meaning, purpose and developing a better understanding of the word.

If you want to start from somewhere, i would highly recommend starting to learn from google ads. Google ads is the mother of all the advertising platforms and includes all formats for marketing. This is where you willl learn to make campaigns, learn about keyword research and understand the bidding strategies.

Keyword research is extremely crucial for your marketing. You need to know what keywords you need to bid on to acheive the best results as possible.
